Subject:Seth in Saw I?
Posted by:fuxxtothefuture.
Time:6:19 pm.
Mood: curious.
Yesterday I was watching again Saw I, and to my surprise there was a male nurse that Gordon called Seth. This Seth guy was keen on Gordon to name John by his name, and not just "patient". He also said John was very interesting.
Is this the same Seth that's in Saw V? because he looks damn familiar to me...

Look what I found:

So if anyone has an extra $350 just laying around, they can be yours.
And that doesn't even include the cost of the shoes. Grumble, grumble.

So I am really mad because I just read on IMDB that Leigh is not having any part at all in the movie, or so it seems. He isn't writing it at least and that makes me think that it is going to be bad. I just don't want the saw movies to turn into something like Freddy or Jason with a million and one sequils. I hope so much that this is the last one because I think it will go downhill from here....

Hey guys,

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the Official Saw webpage (www.officialsaw.com) is being completely revamped and is re-opening April 25th.

The guy who runs the pages, John Raybin, wants fans to check out the opening page, and then make suggestions about what they want to see on the new site. E-mail him at info@raybin.com I've made a few suggestions, leading to the trivia contest and the timelines that will hopefully be up when it re-opens.

So just check it out, and let him know what you'd like to see!

I'm writing a fanfic that centers around Amanda's life after the bear trap and follows the Saw trilogy. Since it seems unlikely that Jigsaw spends every waking moment working on traps, I've decided to devote at least one scene to him and Amanda watching a movie.

Problem is, I'm not sure what he would like. I'm avoiding horror movies and blatant porn.

Any suggestions?

Subject: Fan-made Saw II in 62
Posted by:psycho7772.
Time:2:19 pm.
I made this with some help from a couple of friends during my Christmas break from school.
Just thought I'd share...

Sorry if it looks hideously dark on some monitors...
....If  I get particularly ambitious, we may try to do that same for Saw III, and making our own sound instead of using the sound from the feature on the dvd.....(if they have one on the Saw III dvd..)
But, if you like it, comment!

Time:2:37 pm.

I was on a Saw message board not too long ago and someone had mentioned these. Apparently it's a feature on the special edition of Saw 2. Well, I believe that I ordered the correct edition (widescreen and includes; Jigsaw's Game, Bits and Pieces, the Traps of Saw 2, SToryboards and Conceptual Art Gallery, subtitles, etc.) but this doesn't appear to be an option. I was wondering if there is a code or if I bought the wrong version?

I'm looking for these stories to use in an academic paper. I'm writing about fairy tale retellings and although the stories Jigsaw retells, as I saw from another site, are not the ones I'm analyzing, I do want to tie the horror movie into the paper.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

'Saw IV' Coming at You October 26th, 2007
Posted: October 30, 2006 @ 12:01pm | Source: Box Office Mojo

According to the Box Office Mojo Lionsgate has slated Saw IV for an October 26, 2007 release. We broke the news last week that Joanna Daniel, the Writer and Director of the short horror film Red, is one of the lucky individuals working on a version of Saw 4 for Lionsgate. The plan is to prep up both Saw 4 and Saw 5 and have various scripts prepped. We'll keep you informed as news breaks.

From Bloody-Disgusting.com:

'Saw' Trio to End Trilogy This Friday with 'Saw III'

During the junket in Los Angeles, CA, writer Leigh Whannell and director Darren Bousman both confirmed that they will not be returning to do Saw 4 for Lionsgate. They were happy to wrap it up as a trilogy and end the franchise as a dedication piece to Gregg Hoffman, who passed away last December. We also got in contact with James Wan, creator of the first film, who also confirmed the same news for himself.

Subject:Comic Con 06
Posted by:darkspectre.
Time:9:14 pm.
At this year's San Diego Comic Con there was a short panel about Saw 3 with not only Leigh Whannell and Darren Lynnn Bousman, but Shawnee Smith and Tobin Bell were there as well. They couldn't reveal much, but they showed a clip from the beginning of Saw 3 and it was pretty gruesome. A man is attached to a set of chains (like Hellraiser) and has to get them all out of his body before his death. The scene they showed will be censored down by the MPAA for sure because that clip alone was worth the R rating.

The official trailer for Saw 3 will be shown during the beginning trailers of The Descent this August 4th.

I was able to see a free screening of The Descent (which is an AWESOME film by the way,) but behind my friends and me were reserved seats and surprisingly enough Darren Lynnn Bousman was sitting right behind me. My friend was brave enough to engage in the conversation they were having about the film we were about to see and when she asked if he was Darren (in which he said yes) he told us that Saw 3 is pretty gory. That scene in Saw 2 with the needle pit is nothing in comparison to the horrors that Saw 3 has in store for us.
